No Clever Title

Dropping in to say that everything is still going great! This pregnancy seems to be flying by to me! All my friends that were already pregnant when I found out about this one are starting to have their babies and that just makes even more impatient for this one to be here!

I haven't got a lot to report. Things are going as smooth as possible right now. I had another ultrasound this morning. My little Bean had the hiccups and was flopping around like crazy. And he even started sucking his thumb. It was so sweet! He looks so much more like a baby than an alien now, so that makes me fell better.

I grow to love this baby more and more everyday. I can't even imagine what it will be like when he/she gets here. I am not-so-patiently counting down the days til my due date.

And watching how Randy acts about this baby and how he talks about it makes me fall more in love with him than ever before. I am seeing a side of him that I never knew existed. I am so happy we found each other and can share this experience together. There is no one else in the world that I would rather go through this with! He has been my rock to lean on during my weakness and my shoulder to cry on during my sadness. He is my heart and my life and I can't wait to make him a daddy.

Well, now that I have successfully made myself an emotional sad during this post and people at work are starting to look at me funny, I better bring this to a close.

Odds and Ends

Well, it's been a bit since I posted, but there is really nothing going on around here. All is still well with mommy and baby. Thankfully, the second trimester has been bery boring and uneventful so far! And I couldn't be happier about that.

I am ready to find out the gender of the baby so that I can start SHOPPING!! I bought the coming home outfit last week because boy or girl, it's coming home in camo. So, I bought the cutest little gown that I am going to have embroidered. I can't wait to see the baby in it! It is going to be so precious!!

All-in-all I am just ready to meet this baby! March seems like it will never get here but when I think about all I have left to do in preparation, it seems like I will never find the time to get it all done! When I first found out I was pregnant, I made out a list of all the things that I want done in the house before the baby gets here. Yesterday I marked one thing off that list. I still have about 26 1/2 weeks until the baby gets here to try and get all this done. Randy says it will never happen, but I am a determined person. Whenever I come home from the hospital, I want everything to be as organized as possible-even though I know they won't stay that way. (Yes now is the time for all the mommies reading to laugh at my inexperience and my need to have everything start out organized.)

I guess that's about it! Please be sure to leave comments when you read the various blog entries here as I stil plan on putting these together as a book for the baby one day!

Appointment this morning went great. The dr was able to use the doppler to get a heartbeat and it's still in the 150-160 range. So-still strong and healthy. I got a clean bill of health as well. Blood pressure was good-and this is one of our main concerns due to my chronic hypertension. I am off the progesterone supplement and folic acid and only on a prenatal vitamin now. I go back for a check-up in 4 weeks and 6 weeks from now we will get to find out the gender of this little inhabitant if he/she cooperates!!!!!

I am starting to feel more pregnant. I have started wearing maternity clothes a little bit because my regular clothes just really don't fit! It feels strange to be breaking them out this early, but I am all about comfort right now and the stretchier the maternity clothes the better!!!!!

Anyhow-I better get so I can get back to work! Take care and I hope to post again soon!

A quick hello

Just a couple of lines to let everyone know that I am still doing very well so far. I had a very relaxing holiday but came home with a killer headache and our air conditioner has quit twice in the last 48 hours, so haven't had much time to post. Anyhow, all is still well and I will be sure to post a more detailed post tomorrow after my dr's appointment!
